It's a neighborhood pub on the east side of Medicine Mat. The Decor is dated and there is this only limited seating around the bar counter but the food is quite good and it has a number of TV screens and the staff were friendly. I had the steak salad and the steak was properly cooked and the salad was very good with tomatoes, Green peppers, Romain lettuce, onions, feta cheese and a chunk of garlic bread for your carb fix after eating your vegetables. Not a sports bar though. Prices were very reasonable.

The Bar is WAAAAYYYYY overdue for a makeover. At least Mark and Greg painted over the cheezy murals they once had. However, changing the lampshades and paint falls far short of what they need. They really need to knock it out of the park. Mix the bar around. I think that Mark has become relaxed in the ownership business. I truly believe that with the right guidance, he could knock it out of the park. It would be nice if he could manage to get a large patio with gas fire pit? (Outside Bar) Then, maybe organizing a bike run for a good cause like fallen riders or soldiers? Maybe a car show? It is sad to see The Scoreboard sliding slowly down the hill. It's time to open up your wallet Mark and Greg. Change the place up!

My husband and I ate here regularly for the cheap wings until those cheap wings came back to bite us! My husband ended up in the emergency room on IV with dehydration and food poisoning from bad chicken wings. He ordered 30. I had one off his plate and said, "These taste funny!" From the ONE I had, my stomach was queasy all night. He was full-blown sick, not able to leave the bathroom floor for two days (hence the trip to the ER for fluids) and it took over a week to recover his strength and appetite.
He was tested and confirmed as having a strain of food poisoning associated with leaving poultry and meat out for too long. The health inspector came to our house to check on my husband and we are assuming Scoreboard was notified but we never recieved any sort of compensation or attempt to make amends. They obviously don't care about their customers.
I would never go back there.
